The innovative robotics company revolutionizing mobile technology solutions today debuted its second official Star Wars-inspired robot, the Grogu™ gitamini.
A special edition robot blends the instantly recognizable design of Grogu’s hovering pram with the cutting-edge smart technology that defines PFF’s gita robots, the Grogu™ gitamini was crafted for ultimate Star Wars fans to their everyday lives into surreal experiences. Working closely with Disney and Disney Consumer Products,PFF reimagined its smallest cargo-carrying robot, creating an out of this world collaboration designed to delight fans of all ages.
Like all gita robots, the Grogu™ gitamini autonomously follows behind its leader with the simple push of a button—no training required. Equipped with an array of industry-leading cameras and sensors, the robot identifies its leader and navigates its surroundings with PFF’s proprietary “pedestrian etiquette” technology, ensuring smooth, polite movement and comfortable following distances around obstacles and people.
To accurately recreate the design of Grogu’s iconic transportation device, the PFF team conducted thorough research into the Star Wars galaxy. The gitamini retains gita’s existing traits with a thrilling Star Wars spin. Every new detail is intentional and functional for day-to-day use.
The Grogu™ gitamini features include:
- Custom robot sounds and light patterns to communicate status updates for a range of features, such as pairing mode, park mode, battery level, and more
- New Star Wars-inspired sound designs with real-time audio responses to changes in its leader’s behavior, including acceleration, deceleration, idling, and more
- Grogu™ design on the inside lid that greets users as they gear up for their next adventure
- Custom Star Wars-inspired decals on the exterior panels and interior cargo bin
- Connectivity through the mygita® app, where users can name their robot, check battery status, and stream music via the built-in Bluetooth speaker (cue: “The Imperial March”).

The Mandalorian & Grogu Watch Party Island is now live in Fortnite, bringing fans exclusive content in a new interactive Star Wars adventure. Step into STAR WARS: The Mandalorian and Grogu, watch a 10-minute sneak peek of the film, and hear a special message from director Jon Favreau – all ahead of its theatrical release on May 22. Epic Games, Disney, and Lucasfilm have created their most immersive Fortnite island experience yet.
Created with Fairview Portals — Jon Favreau’s storytelling creative studio — and Beyond Creative, every detail, from Nevarro’s architecture to the quest design, draws from the world first seen on Disney+ and now headed to the big screen. The experience was crafted using assets from the official STAR WARS toolkit — the largest IP toolset in Fortnite.
The Mandalorian & Grogu Watch Party Island brings cinematic world‑building into Fortnite’s interactive space, continuing the strong foundation set by previous collaborations between Disney and Epic, and expanding the ways fans can step into stories they love.

On the island, players can:
- Discover familiar locations and gameplay, including Nevarro’s city streets and the Imperial safehouse
- Talk to new and fan-favorite characters, spend time with Grogu, complete quests from the Marshall IG-11 or challenge other players to 1v1 or 2v2 battles
- Play as newly recruited Deputies during an Imperial attack and build a speeder bike to head across the city
Special rewards and Shop items:
- Spend 20 minutes in the island experience to unlock the exclusive Mandalorian Sanctuary Loading Screen, featuring concept art from the film
- The Mandalorian Pen & Ink Outfit launches in the Shop beginning May 21
