After being officially announced earlier this week, Columbia Sportswear’s Empire Crew Parka is now available at select locations across the country. A replica of the parkas worn by cast and crew during the Norway shoot for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in 1979, this jacket is part of a limited edition run retailing for $500.
One of the locations to purchase this parka is the Columbia Sportswear store at 830 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago, and Coffee With Kenobi was there to capture the event. It’s a beautiful jacket and is sure to sell out quickly (it’s already sold out online), so don’t delay too long!
