Legends Library

Welcome to Legends Library, your one stop spot for book reviews and Legends talk! Legends Library is a show created by Randy Therio and Luke Seitters to bring some excitement to the Legends book series by creating a monthly book club for readers. Each month we will review and talk about a book, which will be announced one month prior. We encourage you to support the Star Wars publishers and purchase the book (audio or physical copy). We hope you are all as excited as we are to delve into the Star Wars Legends universe as part of the Coffee With Kenobi family!

Luke and I are so proud to be part of the Coffee With Kenobi family. I consider myself to be the savvy veteran on the squad. I have read most of the Star Wars books that have been published. I am so grateful for every author and for Del Ray who have helped me stay in this amazing galaxy of imagination far beyond the silver screen. I look forward to every new book that is published. I do have my favorites and my not so favorites, but you have to listen to the show for details. Thank you all for listing and May the Force Be With You!

    Welcome Randy & Luke!!! As an avid EU fan, I think this will be a fun way to explore the novels.

    So, my question is … are you going to go back, and read books that already have been published? Or are you going to be moving forward from this moment on?

    Okay, that was two. Since I’m on a roll …

    Also, when is your first podcast going to air? Will the first book to read be announced in it? Or will you post the first book here so we can (re)read it before your podcast?

      Thank you for your interest in the show! We are going to start at the beginning. Heir to the Empire! Our first book conversation will be about mid November so you will have plenty of time to re-read the novel that started it all. Also we were given an opportunity to interview Marc Thompson, the audiobook talent that reads many of the Star Wars books. It was a blast! I hope it is as fun to listen to as it was to produce. BTW you are our first feedback. That means so much to Luke and I. This will be a day long remembered. Thanks again.

    Welcome Randy and Luke. i can’t wait to hear your views on some of these books. Especially some of the lesser known Legends titles. The paperback novels make up the vast majority of my collection and I’m proud to say that I’ve read almost everyone, at least once. i can’t remember which one of you mentioned this in your intro on the last podcast, but for me, the EU was part of the Canon, even if not officially. A lot of my views on certain characters and events are influenced by the EU.

    I can’t wait to read along with you guys. Oh, and welcome to the CWK family.
