Today, during a ceremony at the D23 Expo, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher officially became Disney Legends. Of course, Star Wars fans have always known they were legends. Still, it’s a thrill to see them recognized with the highest honor Disney can bestow. Disney CEO, Bob Iger, introduced both honorees. Sadly, Billie Lourd could not be there to accept the award on her mother’s behalf, but she did send a letter which was read to the audience by Mr. Iger.
