Yesterday we saw the four new limited-edition Vanity Fair covers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. They promised us even more images today and have delivered in a massive way! Not just the new images, though, but new character and city reveals as well.
With the new images released today, all captured by the great Annie Leibovitz, we get a closer look at the characters we already love — Luke, Rey, Leia, Kylo Ren, Poe, Finn, and more — but we also get our first look at new characters such as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, played by Laura Dern, and a shady grifter-type character called “DJ,” played by Benicio Del Toro.
The images also reveal the new casino city of Canto Bight, where the wealthy and exotic new characters can be found.
Hold onto your heart because there are new and absolutely stunning photographs featuring our beloved Carrie Fisher.
Last, but not least, we see the rest of the cast in the images below.
The Star Wars Show prepared a brief rundown of the news released today, and you can see that here:
In addition to all the amazing images, David Kamp has also written a comprehensive piece that takes you behind-the-scenes of The Last Jedi, featuring interviews with the cast and the creative geniuses involved in the process. Be sure to visit Vanity Fair to read that in its entirety.
