Rian Johnson’s ‘The Last Jedi’ Facebook Q&A with Collider and IMAX [Full Video]

After a screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, director Rian Johnson participated in a Q&A with Collider.com over on the IMAX Facebook page. In case you missed it, you’ll find the video posted below. It was lengthy, well over an hour, and covered a lot of ground. Rian is always good about answering questions from fans on his Twitter account, and this was no different.

Naturally, the discussion on the table was The Last Jedi, and a few things covered included his love for Star Wars while growing up, his process for creating the opening crawl, working with the actors and the development and motivations of their characters, criticism of certain aspects of the film, the editing process, and much more. If you’re a fan of deleted scenes, the Blu-ray will have you covered — Entire sequences, not just scenes, will be included. He confirms about 20 minutes of deleted footage.

It’s a pretty in-depth Q&A, and is well-worth setting time aside to watch if you have not seen it yet.

(If the video isn’t visible, try refreshing the page, or you can watch it on the IMAX Facebook page.)
