The countdown is on for the opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort. Tune in today, Aug. 28, from 9:55 a.m. EDT-10:25 a.m. EDT to watch the special dedication moment LIVE as Disney prepares to open the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansion in Disney Parks history. It will be a celebration long remembered, featuring some familiar and beloved Star Wars characters.
Starting Thursday, Aug. 29, guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort will live their own Star Wars adventures when they visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Guests will be transported to Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, where they will:
- Fly “the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Take a swig of Blue Milk or Green Milk
- Craft their own lightsabers or build their own droids
- Drop by for a galactic concoction at Oga’s Cantina
- Find authentic Star Wars merchandise designed specifically for the land
- And much more!
