Director J.J. Abrams was recently at the Visual Effects Society Awards to accept the Visionary Award, and Collider was able to talk to him about The Force Awakens, the use of CGI in the film, his love for Star Wars, and that controversial lightsaber design.
Of course, he’s a bit cagey about a few things – including when we can expect the full-length trailer – but that’s the way we like it, right? It’s all about being surprised on December 18th.
