TCNETWORKaudio I was fortunate to join the latest episode of the TeacherCast with William Shakespeare’s Star Wars author Ian Doescher and Thomas Riddle of Star Wars in the Classroom to discuss the many ways Star Wars can be incorporated into the classroom. While this is a teacher-centered video Podcast (I apologize for my poor video feed; my CWK office is not fully operational), the discussion is Star Wars focused, and features conversation on many Star Wars topics. Let us know what you think, and if you are a teacher, follow the TeacherCast and sign up to be a Rogue!

Huge thanks to Jeff Bradbury and Thomas Riddle for inviting me to participate!

These were wonderful excerpts to listen to! 🙂 (Sadly, it’s all I had time for today.) I am so glad you shared these with us!

I just would like to say (for whatever it’s worth 😉 ) that I have been an Ewok fan and a Jar Jar Binks fan right from the start. 🙂 I was not a child when ROTJ hit movie screens. Definitely not when TPM was released. I love the message at least I took away from Jedi — that EVERYONE, no matter how small or “backward”, can make a difference, and even triumph. It happens all the time. 🙂 And I enjoyed the silliness that Jar Jar brought to TPM. Maybe it’s the youngster in me. Maybe it’s the fact that there is a certain amount of silliness that occurs in our home every day. Laughter lightens the load. 🙂 Sure, being serious has its place … but sometimes we take ourselves too seriously.
