Jesse by Jesse Thaxton Joins Judges Winner, Hannah Kent, and Audience Winner, Camille Falciola to Design a Fashion Collection with Her Universe for Hot Topic
The at-home audience watching Comic-Con HQ has spoken and designer Jesse by Jesse Thaxton, with her design for Falkor from The NeverEnding Story, is their choice for the third winner of The Her Universe Fashion Show. Jesse will now join Judges Winner, Hannah Kent, and Audience Winner, Camille Falciola, from July 21st’s “live” geek couture fashion show at San Diego Comic-Con, to design a fashion collection with Her Universe to be sold at Hot Topic. This is the third year for the popular Comic-Con fashion show, which has always had two winners, but it is the first time ever that a third winning contestant was chosen by the audience at home watching on Comic-Con HQ.

The entire fashion show was featured on the season finale of Comic-Con HQ’s exclusive docu-series, The Her Universe Fashion Show: Fashion Meets Fandom, which is now streaming on Comic-Con HQ. Viewers were then asked to vote online and fans at home were given the power to choose the 3rd winner.
“I’m so excited to begin work with Jesse, Hannah and Camille to design a new Her Universe collection for Hot Topic,” said Her Universe Founder Ashley Eckstein. “All three designers will have a true professional experience from start to finish. We’ll begin with the design process now and we’ll unveil their fully realized, complete fashion collection for sale in spring of 2017!”
The entire docu-series The Her Universe Fashion Show: Fashion Meets Fandom, starring Ashley Eckstein, is available now on Comic-Con HQ – the streaming video-on-demand network. The docu-series, co-produced by Blondie Girl Productions, has been following the designers from their first stitch to their final strut on the ultimate runway for fangirl fashion at San Diego Comic-Con.
